PRIVATE HOUSEHOLD STAFFING AND PLACEMENT

Thoughtful placements for stronger households.

Oak & Ivy Placement brings families and experienced household professionals together through a personal, carefully guided process built on trust, clear expectations, and long-term compatibility.

We are here for both sides of the relationship.

A household placement is deeply personal for a family and professionally significant for the person entering the home. Oak & Ivy takes the time to understand both, represent each side honestly, and remain available as the relationship begins and grows.

The right fit involves more than experience and availability.

Schedules and responsibilities matter. So do communication, household culture, parenting philosophy, professional goals, boundaries, benefits, working style, and the kind of support that will help everyone succeed.

Oak & Ivy brings those details into focus before introductions begin, creating a stronger foundation for a lasting working relationship.

Two sides. One thoughtful process.

Every successful placement begins by understanding the needs, expectations, and goals on both sides.

FAMILIES

Support designed around your household.

We help you clarify the role, establish professional expectations, evaluate potential matches, and navigate the search from first conversation through onboarding.

HOUSEHOLD PROFESSIONALS

Representation that respects your work.

We learn about your experience, strengths, preferences, and career goals so that the opportunities presented to you are clear, appropriate, and professionally structured.

What kind of support does your household need?

A nanny, family assistant, and household manager may support the same family in very different ways. Oak & Ivy helps define the responsibilities, schedule, and experience the position truly requires before the search begins.

Professional nannies

Consistent, developmentally informed childcare and child-related support.

Family assistants

A blended role combining childcare with clearly defined family and household tasks.

Household managers

Coordination of household operations, schedules, vendors, systems, and daily logistics.

Newborn care

Specialized support for newborn routines, overnight care, and the transition home.

Temporary and travel

Short-term, seasonal, overnight, travel, or transitional household support.

Private education and other roles

Individualized educational or customized household support based on the family’s needs.

A guided process from first conversation to first day.

Oak & Ivy provides structure, communication, and support throughout the search so that families and professionals can make informed decisions with confidence.

Strong placements are supported by professional employment.

Oak & Ivy supports lawful W-2 household employment and helps families understand the practices that contribute to stable, respectful, long-term working relationships. These may include guaranteed hours, legal overtime, paid time off, paid holidays, sick leave, mileage reimbursement, travel compensation, and a clear written agreement.

Careful evaluation. Private introductions.

Oak & Ivy reviews professional experience, references, qualifications, preferences, and role-appropriate screening information through a confidential agency process. Complete candidate identities and profiles are not presented publicly, and introductions remain coordinated through the agency.

Final screening language must be checked against approved policies before launch.

Placement is a beginning, not the end of the relationship.

Oak & Ivy remains available during onboarding and transition. When questions, communication challenges, or evolving household needs arise, families and professionals have a knowledgeable point of contact who understands how the placement began.

Clear expectations from the beginning.

Family placement services are structured by the type of role rather than a percentage of annual salary. Current placement fees begin at $3,200, with custom pricing for specialized and short-term searches.

Fees are subject to the signed family agreement and final launch review.
